WHy Organic

Organic means working with the delicate balance and rhythms of nature, from the soil, to plants and wildlife. We never use any pesticides or synthetic fertilisers when we grow and farm our herbs. We oversee every stage of the plant’s journey, sowing and harvesting each flower by hand and blending the herbal oils to create our signature organic skincare products.

Why do we choose organic ingredients for our products?

🌿    Our skin absorbs up to 60% of what we put on our skin! Using organic ingredients is kinder on your skin as they are free of any parabens, phthalates, SLS, artificial fragrances, formaldehyde, nanoparticles or propane/petroleum bases.

🌿   Organic ingredients are super effective at nourishing our skin. Skin conditioning herbs and plants have a long history of use on the skin and many healing herbs that are used therapeutically can be used to help condition and improve skin health. They can cleanse, restore and moisturise to help protect from free radicals, maintain skin elasticity, increase cell repair and renewal.

🌿   Growing and using organic ingredients in our products help wildlife. Organic farms provide homes for bees, birds and butterflies. On average, plant, insect and bird life is 50% more abundant on organic farms and there are around 75% more wild bees on organic farms.*

We are proud that all Herbfarmacy products are certified organic by the Soil Association. Soil are the largest organisation that regulates organic farming and their logo is easy to determine that product is organic.
